Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for overnight shifts. The role supports patient daily living activities and basic nursing care under RN supervision, in a community hospital setting.

Education and certification requirements include CNA certification (state approved), BLS, and related credentials. Prior acute care or physician office experience is preferred, with a commitment to safety and quality care for diverse patient

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
