UC Health is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support the Short Stay Unit at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. This full-time night shift role provides essential daily care to patients, including vital signs, hygiene, and mobility assistance.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED with an STNA certification or PCA training. You will collaborate with the nursing team to deliver safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced academic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current STNA Certification, Clinical Rotation completed, or PCA Novice Program completion.

Responsibilities

• Measures vital signs and reports changes to RN.
• Assists with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provides hygiene and comfort measures and changes linens.
• Assists with mobility, positioning and safety.
• Communicates patient observations to RN and documents appropriately.
