Concentra in Ladson, SC seeks an experienced Paramedic to join a dedicated patient care team. You will administer first-aid and life support in pre-hospital and on-site settings, lead wellness training, and perform health screenings for employees.

Responsibilities include injury prevention program development, on-site evaluations coordination, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. A High School diploma, EMT-P license, ACLS, and CPR/First Aid certifications are required, with 2+ years of EMT/Paramedic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid EMT-P certification or EMS license
• CPR and First Aid certifications required
• ACLS course completion required
• Two+ years EMT/Paramedic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and implement injury and illness prevention programs for employees.
• Administer first-aid and life support in pre-hospital or on-site setting.
• Coordinate with Onsite Medical Center for evaluations and post-injury rehabilitation.
• Provide physical conditioning and wellness training to employees.
• Conduct CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens training.
• Perform alcohol and urine drug screening per regulations.
• Assess illness/injury severity to determine first aid procedures and needs for further care.
• Record victim statistics and circumstances of emergencies.
