48forty Solutions is seeking a Pallet Sorter in Topeka, KS. In this role, you will hand sort pallets within a distribution facility while maintaining high safety standards. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 and the opportunity to work either Tuesday to Friday or Saturday to Monday shifts.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, checking loads for security, and completing production paperwork. Ideal candidates will have a high school degree or GED and excellent communication skills. Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills needed.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the distribution center.
• Check loads to make sure they are secure.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly.
