Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a Packaging Trainee for our King William, VA plant. The role involves safely operating packaging equipment, monitoring lines and ensuring on-time material supply to maintain production flow.

The position offers a night shift (7pm–7am) on a rotating schedule, with a focus on safety, sanitation and adherence to quality standards. Prior packaging experience is a plus, high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of experience in a fast-paced and performance measured environment.
• Experience in packaging/ manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, monitor and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Supply packaging materials and maintain sanitation to high standards.
• Load and unload raw/packaging materials and finished goods.
• Maintain inventory data through accurate data entry.
• Perform preventative routines including lubrication, repairs, inspection and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure products meet quality standards by monitoring production parameters and testing.
• Keep the area clean and organized at all times.
