Job summary

Balchem Corp. in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a 3rd Shift Packaging Supervisor to lead packaging operations from 11pm to 7am. You will supervise leads and operators, coordinate materials and documentation, and ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality production.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on oversight of GMPs, safety training, and housekeeping. Relevant experience in manufacturing, packaging, and regulated environments is preferred, with a weekend-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading packaging operations preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate leads and operators on shift.
• Provide clear direction and address performance and attendance issues promptly.
• Train operators on GMPs, OSHA safety training, lockout/tagout, and safe work practices.
• Monitor inventories, production flow, and packaging priorities to support schedule attainment.
• Maintain required paperwork and electronic records to company standards.
• Identify and communicate schedule deviations, downtime, and risks to management.
