Manpower is recruiting a Packaging Operator in East Durham, NY for a night shift on a 12.5-hour rotation (7pm–7:30am). The role involves operating automated toothpaste packaging lines, handling packaging materials, and maintaining clean, safe work areas in a state-of-the-art facility.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, can work long shifts with weekends off, and possesses basic computer skills including data entry and MS Word/Excel. Safety and compliance are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated toothpaste packaging lines at up to 450 tubes per minute.
• Handle packaging materials such as cases, cartons, labels, wrap, slip sheets, caps, corners, pallets, and finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment to ensure optimum performance.
• Perform autonomous maintenance and assist technicians with preventive maintenance.
• Conduct inventories of packaging materials and finished products, ensuring accurate documentation and quality checks.
