Job summary

Mars, Incorporated is seeking a Packaging Operator for the Skittles line on the Pitman Nights shift. You will operate packaging equipment, ensure product quality, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced confectionery environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in food manufacturing with automated processes, and strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills. The role offers a competitive salary, benefits, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Associates degree, or higher, in an engineering or manufacturing related discipline.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in a food related manufacturing environment with automated processes, including PLC/HMI.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in the assigned work area while ensuring quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Communicate effectively with team leader and peers.
• Follow proper escalation protocol.
• Fill out HACCP and military sheets correctly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing area per 5S standards.
• Perform cleanouts and changeovers per standards.
• Actively participate in TPM teams.
