Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring an OR nurse for a 13-week assignment in Fort Defiance, AZ. Schedule is 10:00PM–6:30AM, five days per week, with potential extension.

Responsibilities include maintaining at least two years of recent OR experience, circulating duties, and on-call coverage including one overnight and one weekend every five weeks. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. Floats to other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent OR experience.
• Demonstrated circulating experience relevant to the position.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a minimum of two years of recent experience in the applicable specialty.
• Demonstrate circulating experience relevant to the position being applied for.
• Work Monday through Friday, 0730-1600 shift schedule.
• Participate in on-call duties, including approximately one overnight per week.
• Participate in on-call duties, including approximately one weekend every five weeks.
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Maintain current ACLS certification.
• Maintain current PALS certification.
• Float to other departments as needed when qualified to do so.
• Take on patient loads when experienced and competent in a given setting during float assignments.
• Perform task-oriented duties during float assignments, such as answering call lights and phones.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery.
