Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a dedicated OR support professional for a full-time, 1.0 FTE night shift (40 hours per week) on-site in Anchorage, AK. A solid attendance record, positive attitude and flexibility are required; BLS is required on hire, CNA preferred with 1 year hospital experience.

Qualifications

• BLS/ACLS or Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is required upon hire.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred upon hire.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general support of the professional staff in the operating suites.
• Handle equipment and supplies, clean and decontaminate Operating Rooms and equipment.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on a variety of technical equipment.
• Restock supplies and maintain a safe, hazard-free environment for patient care.
