Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oncology for a night shift in El Paso, Texas. This role provides direct clinical patient care and supervision of staff, under the guidance of the CNO to ensure high-quality nursing care and efficient resource management.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an RN license, and 1 year of RN experience for PRN status; BLS is required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • 1 year of RN experience for PRN status.
  • Active RN license with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, safe nursing care to all patients.
  • Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
  • Direct care per safety standards, risk management, QI, and Infection Control.
  • Coordinate and plan patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
  • Administer medications safely and in a timely manner.
  • Fulfill all HICS responsibilities during emergencies and disasters as directed.
  • Know and respond to hospital emergency codes and procedures.
