Position located downtown at the Main Building; background screening may be required per hospital policy.

Qualifications

• 2 years OB clinical nursing experience required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or other conditions on the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and care plans.
• Interact with physicians and other hospital departments to coordinate care.
• Advocate for patients and participate in unit meetings and activities.
