Job summary

Abbott Nutrition Altavista, VA is seeking a Night Shift Production Operator to safely operate high-speed manufacturing equipment and maintain packaging materials for leading nutrition brands. You will perform quality checks, complete work orders, and ensure compliance with FDA/OSHA standards.

Shift hours are 6pm to 6:30am on a rotating schedule, with responsibilities including equipment troubleshooting and maintaining a clean, organized production area to nourish millions worldwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months prior manufacturing experience.
• Good written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical troubleshooting skills and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate high-speed production equipment for nutrition products.
• Maintain inventory of packaging materials.
• Complete workorder documentation.
• Perform quality checks.
• Clean equipment and the production environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues.
