Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian in New York, NY is seeking a Nursing Attendant for a full-time night shift at 3 North- Med Surg/Tele. You will support bedside care, monitor vitals, assist with meals and safe transport, and collaborate with nurses and ICU technicians to maintain high patient care standards.

The role requires prior nurse aide experience or certification, or enrollment in a BSN program with BLS; clinical practicum experience is also acceptable.

Qualifications

• Previous Nurse’s aide experience or equivalent in a hospital setting.
• Certification from an approved Nurse Aide training program.
• Currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing at the junior year level.
• Completed clinical practicum BLS from AHA HS Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vitals including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Deliver meals and ensure safe patient transport.
• Provide care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and compassionate patient focus.
