Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring for a Night Shift Nurse (RN/LPN) to provide essential medical care from 6pm to 6am within a 100-bed residential detox and inpatient rehab setting.

The role requires a current RN or LPN license in Indiana (or multi-state compact) and strong communication, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities to support the care teams and patient recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
• Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings
