Job summary

The Hampden County Sheriff's Office is hiring a full-time Nurse to join the Health Services team at all sites, including the Western Massachusetts Regional Women's Correctional Center in Chicopee, MA. The role offers a challenging but rewarding environment caring for inmates with a multidisciplinary team. The shift is 7:00 p.m.

to 7:00 a.m. with three 12-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts nursing license required (LPN or RN).
• Night shift availability required for 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. schedule.
• Experience in correctional health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to inmates across sites.
• Monitor, assess, and document patients' health status and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health services team to ensure quality care.
