Job summary

Community First Solutions in Mason, OH is seeking a Staff Nurse LPN/RN to deliver direct bedside care, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and the care team. You will mentor caregivers, support residents’ wellness plans, and contribute to a safe, person-centered environment.

The role offers shift coverage from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Starting pay is $29.00 per hour, based on state certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Ohio Board of Nursing approved nursing program.
• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Ohio and CPR certification.
• Excellent bedside manner and compassionate patient care.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience using an Electronic Health Record system.

Responsibilities

• Institutes appropriate nursing intervention to assist with a resident’s condition and prevent complications.
• Performs resident rounds to assess physical and emotional status and implement required nursing care.
• Responds to resident and family concerns; documents concerns and coordinates resolutions.
• Coordinates admission, discharge and transfer of residents.
• Prepares, administers and documents medications as prescribed.
• Ensures the on-duty nurse is informed of prior shift reports and status updates.
• Consults with licensed professionals when appropriate.
• Clarifies orders or treatments that may be inaccurate by consulting with the provider.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
