Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. This PRN night shift (7 pm – 7 am) role focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team and aligned with Wellstar standards.

The RN will practice under evidence-based guidelines, collaborate with physicians and care managers, and serve as a mentor when appropriate, ensuring safety and compassionate care for neonates and families.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelors preferred.
• Current RN license and required certifications on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process and evidence-based care.
• Provide patient-centered care with culturally sensitive approach.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and document care.
• Mentor and precept other staff when needed.
