Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) NICU in Charleston is seeking a Night shift Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) to support the 36-hour weekly schedule in a high-acuity Level IV unit. You will work with a dedicated team to provide patient- and family-centered care, guided by the nursing process, in a state‑of‑the‑art hospital environment.

Preferred candidates hold a BSN or are enrolled in BSN within two years of hire; current SC RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred and BSN pursuit required within 4 years for some hires.
• RN licensure in SC or compact state required with current BLS.
• Ability to perform wide range of nursing duties in NICU with advanced beginner level.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to families and patients.
• Interact with health care team to achieve desired outcomes in NICU setting.
