Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO seeks a registered nurse to provide direct patient care on the Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate with other departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality while upholding Mercy Service Standards.

Graduates with ADN/ Diploma/ BSN are eligible and must maintain current RN licensure in Missouri; BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact license.
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA) or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
