Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking an NDT Etch Technician for the 3rd shift in Connecticut. The role focuses on daily etch tests following approved procedures with emphasis on safety and timely project delivery.

Compensation starts at $20.50 per hour, plus a $5.00 per hour shift differential. Work hours are 10:30pm–7:00am, and responsibilities include logging, processing parts, and maintaining equipment while adhering to company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Etching metal plating experience is advantageous.
• Familiar with testing codes and standards.
• Experience interpreting testing procedures and requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily etch logs in accordance with written procedures.
• Process parts per Element procedures/specifications.
• General knowledge of chemical processes performed at EMT.
• Perform chemical additions as required.
• Maintain related test equipment and tools in good condition.
• Complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
