Job summary

Signal of Baton Rouge is seeking Class C security officers for multi-site patrols across the Greater Baton Rouge area. Shifts run 7:30p–4:30a, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role emphasizes proactive presence, clear reporting, and professional interaction with the public.

Candidates must be 21+, pass background and drug screening, and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Military, police, or security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Age 21+ with high school diploma or GED.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Meets security experience requirements as listed: 2+ years military/police/5+ years security/1+ year with Signal with documented performance.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and/or static security per post orders; maintain a proactive, visible presence.
• Conduct mobile and foot patrols at varying client locations.
• Engage the public professionally; de-escalate verbally and request support early when needed.
• Complete accurate electronic reporting every shift; document who/what/when/where/how.
• Identify patterns and risks; communicate recommendations to supervisors.
• Support and model standards for junior officers when assigned.
