Job summary

Ecobat is seeking a skilled Millwright for night or evening shifts in Indianapolis to support our Maintenance department. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of plant equipment in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualified candidates have 2-3 years in industrial maintenance, knowledge of metal properties, and welding experience; read schematics and blueprints; readiness to work overtime and weekends; safety-minded.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ recent industrial maintenance or millwright experience.
• Stick/SMAW welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of various metal properties.
• Ability to work varied shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective and preventative mechanical maintenance.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains mechanical equipment and systems using schematics, drawings, and other technical documentation.
• Performs mechanical installation of new plant equipment.
• Repairs processing equipment such as pumps, piping, and machinery components.
• Performs steel fabrications, repairs, and modifications.
• Keeps work area neat, clean, and free of debris.
• Instruct, implement, and enforce the company safety program and site-specific safety requirements.
• Complies with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs.
