Job summary

Greenville Metals is seeking a Production Laborer to support operations in a heavy industrial plant in Transfer, PA. The role offers cross-training across multiple production areas, including melt, furnace support, heat make-up, ladle operations, and packaging, with safe, efficient, and quality-focused work practices.

The position is entry-level with development opportunities toward specialized production roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing, foundry, melt shop, steel, metals or heavy industrial environment strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work varying shifts including overtime and 12-hour schedules.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety rules, wear PPE and promote a safe work environment.
• Operate forklifts, pendant cranes, loaders, bobcats, scales after training and authorization.
• Load, unload, transport, package, identify and stage materials throughout the facility.
• Read and follow work orders, heat make-up sheets, quality requirements and operating instructions.
• Assist furnace operations and ladle preparation as needed.
• Maintain mold and production equipment and assist with quality checks.
