Job summary

Providence St. Vincent's Medical Center in Portland, OR seeks a Mental Health Associate for a full-time night shift to provide supervision, emotional support, behavioral intervention, and basic care for patients with behavioral health concerns.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's in a behavioral science field, PMAB training within 60 days of hire, National Provider BLS within 60 days, and 2 years of direct care experience; crisis intervention is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field (social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, or related).
• 2 years' experience providing direct care assistance to individuals with behavioral health concerns or related settings.
• Annual PMAB training within 60 days of hire.
• Within 60 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, emotional support, behavioral intervention, and basic care to patients with behavioral health concerns.
• Deliver continuity of care and interventions to patients with psycho-social stressors as part of a treatment team.
