Job summary

Gifted Healthcare in Missouri is seeking an experienced MedSurg RN to provide bedside care for a diverse patient population. You will perform individualized assessments and develop patient-centered care plans, ensuring safe and effective treatment in collaboration with physicians.

You will prepare equipment, administer prescribed medications, document care, and respond to adverse symptoms. The role includes shift work: 3x12 nights, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced health system.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients and perform individualized assessments to create an individualized plan of care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment of patients.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications.
• Initiate alternative action when adverse symptomology is displayed.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs when necessary.
