LabMinds Staffing & Recruiting, LLC is seeking a Night Shift Laboratory Technologist (MLTor MT) in Machias, ME. The role focuses on performing laboratory tests and reporting results to physicians for diagnosis and treatment, with supervision by the Laboratory Manager.

The ideal candidate holds an associate or bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, is certified or eligible as MT/MLT, and demonstrates independent judgment and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related area.
• Certification/registration eligible as Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician is required or eligible.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, materials, equipment and techniques of medical technology.
• Skill in both verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and report results to physician.
• Assist in laboratory operations, QA programs and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain independent judgment, professional education, and National certification as required.
• After probation, act as general supervisor for waived, moderate and high complexity testing; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
