Quest Diagnostics in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist Trainee for night shifts (Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM). The role performs analytic tests under supervision in Clinical Toxicology, with a base pay of $23/hour and possible 10% or 15% shift differentials.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology, or qualifies as a Technologist under 42 CFR 493.1489.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide a detailed credential evaluation from NACES or AICE.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned analytical tests up to the reporting step under supervision, following SOPs and QC requirements.
• Support and comply with laboratory policies and procedures.
• Maintain turnaround time including STATS or critical results for clients.
• Ensure test systems are in control for each test performed.
• Inform supervision of problems in test procedures and deviations.
