Job summary

Hunter Recruiting is seeking a local contract nurse RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Akron, OH. This local contract position starts 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and night shifts (12 hours).

ACLS/BLS required; must be willing to float. Requires 2+ years MS/Telemetry experience, Epic experience within the last year, and an ACEN/CCNE-accredited nursing degree with OH or compact RN license.

Qualifications

• ACLS/BLS required.
• Must have 2+ years of MS/TELE experience.
• OH or compact RN license required.
• Epic experience within the last 12 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Med Surg/Telemetry nursing care as assigned.
• Be willing to float to other units as needed.
• Work 12-hour night shifts (3x12s) on a local contract.
