Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for 2 East, a 49-bed telemetry unit providing care to adults and geriatrics with various acute conditions. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and continuous learning on a fast-paced floor.

Requirements include MA RN license, BLS, and telemetry competency; BSN and ACLS are preferred. Candidates may be floated as needed and will be eligible for a union contract under the applicable agreement.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN License.
• Evidence of Continuing Education.
• Telemetry experience or pass Telemetry Competency Exam within 90 days of starting.
• AHA BLS Certification required.
• Knowledge of critical paths and professional development activities is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on 2 East telemetry unit.
• Monitor and respond to telemetry alarms and patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support services to coordinate care.
• Adhere to unit policies and participate in ongoing professional development.
