Job summary

Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, Ohio is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Special Care Unit Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment. The 13-week contract requires weekend and holiday coverage and may include block scheduling to accommodate staffing needs.

Responsibilities include nursing care in both Med/Surg and SCU, with patient loads up to 6 on Med/Surg and 4 on SCU. Immediate start date; ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Step-down/telemetry experience preferred.
• ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Med/Surg and Special Care Unit.
• Manage patient loads up to 6 on Med/Surg and up to 4 on SCU.
• Work all assigned weekends and holidays.
