Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a travel Med-Surg RN for a Peoria, Illinois assignment. This 13-week travel position offers nights on 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour week.

Qualified candidates will hold an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and at least 18 months of Med-Surg/Acute Care experience. Private housing or housing allowance and weekly pay are provided.

• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent Med-Surg/Acute Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and treatment team members.
