Job summary

Townsen Memorial Hospital in Humble, TX seeks a PRN Med Surg Registered Nurse for night shifts. The RN will admit patients to the Med Surg unit, provide comprehensive nursing care, and support post-operative care plans.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS are required.
• Experience in a peri-operative and inpatient environment is preferred.
• Med Surg experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Medical-Surgical inpatient unit.
• Assist with admission and prepare patients for procedures.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
• Document care accurately in the medical record and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other staff to ensure quality care.
