Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical for a 13-week contract in Michigan. The RN will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, serve as team leader, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient-centered goals.

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts with a 36-hour guarantee; every other weekend and holiday required. Must have MI RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, pediatric MS experience, and Epic preferred. Benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Pediatric MS experience required.
• Epic experience highly preferred.
• Active Michigan RN License required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments of patients' needs and provide skilled nursing care per plan of care.
• Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, and patient education.
• Evaluate treatment plans and coordinate with team to improve care strategies.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
