Job summary

ProMedica Hickman Hospital in Michigan seeks a Registered Nurse for the Nights shift on the Med Surg Unit. This full-time role offers 36 weekly hours, a $20,000 sign-on bonus, and a supportive team dedicated to patient-centered care.

The RN will lead a coordinated care team, administer medications, document in the EHR, and participate in quality and safety initiatives while upholding nursing standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training.
• Specialty certifications as required.
• Twenty-five hours of continuing education in the two-year period prior to license renewal.
• Ability to respond effectively to critical situations involving patients, personnel, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and execute nursing regimens as authorized.
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
• Lead and coordinate care within the unit and support staff as needed.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives.
