Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) for a 13-week contract in Frederick, Maryland. The Medical‑Surgical unit (63G) serves adult and geriatric patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions.

Schedule is 3x12s with rotating holidays and weekends; Night Shift 19:00–07:00. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years MS RN experience, travel nursing experience, and the ability to interpret cardiac rhythms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience.
• Travel nursing experience required.
• Ability to independently interpret cardiac rhythms.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Medical-Surgical setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and administer medications as necessary.
• Assist with pre- and post-operative patient care and management.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.
• Document all patient care activities in MEDITECH accurately and timely.
