Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Material Service Coordinator II in the Inpatient Inventory Department for a full-time night shift. The role involves preparing, delivering and counting linen and medical supplies, labeling products, and maintaining accurate logs.

This union hourly position offers 40 hours weekly with an 11:00 PM–7:30 AM shift (every other weekend and holidays) and includes benefits eligibility after starting. Non-exempt with overtime eligibility and shift pay differential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with materials handling preferred in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, deliver, check and document linen and medical/surgical supplies.
• Issue supplies from storeroom, central sterile processing and vendor shipments.
• Label products for charging and identification and maintain storage locations.
• Count and maintain supply and linen levels as directed by management.
• Respond to supply requests via verbal, written, phone or Power Chart.
• Maintain logs and records for all processes.
