Job summary

Leviton is hiring a Material Handler to support shipping finished goods and maintain materials for production lines. The role involves unloading/loading freight, moving goods with an RF scanner, and preparing items for shipment.

The position requires basic math, 3 months of material handling experience, and the ability to communicate clearly, follow instructions, and stay safe in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic arithmetic (add/subtract/measure).
• Basic computer skills needed for routine tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy warehouse.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Ability to identify potential safety hazards and act accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading/loading freight.
• Move finished goods and materials using RF scanner.
• Package finished goods appropriately for shipment.
• Operate warehouse packaging equipment as needed.
• Conduct cycle counts of inventory.
• Support cutting lines and maintain 5S standards.
