Job summary

Generac is seeking a Material Handler on the 3rd shift (11pm–7am) to move warehouse parts to assembly areas, supporting safe and efficient production and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role collaborates with production lines to maximize material flow, uses forklifts to transport materials, and contributes to continuous improvement and productivity metrics across the plant.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience for Material Handler I; more for II/III levels.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic PC knowledge and ERP entry capabilities.
• Ability to identify and resolve basic problems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work under general supervision with well-defined tasks and follow procedures.
• Participate in 5S programs and visualize normal vs abnormal areas.
• Operate forklift or other equipment to transport materials.
• Enter, maintain and transact materials in the ERP system.
