Nucor Towers and Structures in Crawfordsville, IN is seeking a Material Handler (Loader/Unloader) to unload, receive, and stage materials using forklifts and overhead cranes. You will load bundles on trailers, inspect for damage, and ensure accurate packaging and labeling.

Safety is emphasized; candidates must meet attendance, weather tolerance, and overtime requirements. Training and certification for crane and forklift operations are offered as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year general labor in heavy manufacturing environments.
• Ability to operate forklift and overhead cranes; certified within 30 days of hire.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays in an outdoor industrial setting.
• Reliable attendance and dependable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Unload and receive all incoming materials into storage using forklifts and/or overhead cranes.
• Assist in receiving raw materials and warehouse parts as directed by purchasing.
• Ensure material bundles are accounted for, identified, and staged for loading.
• Load panel bundles and accessories on trailers; inspect material for damage prior to loading.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and other duties as assigned.
