Job summary

Dal-Tile, a Mohawk Industries subsidiary, is hiring a Material Handler for night shift in Dickson, TN. The role focuses on stocking, loading and unloading materials, using forklifts, and ensuring accurate order handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You'll operate forklifts, enter data into the Warehouse Management System, verify stock, and maintain a safe, organized workspace. We seek dependable candidates with warehousing experience and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1+ years distribution/warehouse experience; 6 months stand-up forklift or order picker experience; pallet jack experience optional.
• Good oral and written communication; good record keeping; listening skills; accurate measurement.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English; work safely; Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and/or crane equipment.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
• Convey picked orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Monitor equipment and report problems to supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Operate wireless devices (tablets, scanners) and automated equipment.
• Perform receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material.
• Perform other related duties as required.
