Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician Associate for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 11:00 pm – 8:00 am) in New Albany, OH. You will assemble trailer components and sub-assemblies, perform quality inspections, and support continuous improvement of production methods and equipment.

The role requires reading and following job orders, using measuring tools, and working safely with various materials in a manufacturing environment. Strong teamwork and flexibility are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (work or military experience)
• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Availability to travel more than 75% of the time

Responsibilities

• Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions
• Safely utilize various measuring and inspection instruments
• Use various power and hand tools in a safe manner
• Work with a variety of materials, including steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents, oils and abrasives
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality standards
• Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within department
