Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Salt Lake City seeks Manufacturing Technicians (Level 1 or 2) to perform hands-on work manufacturing composite rocket cases, with responsibilities including tooling setup, winding operations, and area cleanliness.

The role requires shift work (12-hour nights), the ability to read blueprints and perform basic math, and a valid driver's license. Training will cover safety, quality, and process control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus manufacturing exposure.
• Associates degree or technical certificate related to composites is preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing environments and safety protocols is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture composite rocket cases and support tooling assembly/disassembly.
• Perform case surface preparation and winding with composite equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and support safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
