Job summary

Entegris in Bedford, MA is hiring a Manufacturing Operator for Sunday-Thursday nights (10 pm to 6:30 am). You will operate assembly equipment and second-operation machines, perform greenforming, sintering, laser cutting, wet saw cutting, inspection, trimming and packaging of membrane products, and complete required paperwork in SAP.

The role requires reading and following documented processes, precise measurement with calipers and other tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
• Good attention to detail; ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry.
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 4 ft. and walk and stand during entire shift.
• Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, repetitively twist, bend and reach upward and handle all materials required in manufacturing, etc.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Verifies product visually and corrects issues.
• Ensures product meets established specifications.
• Escalates quality issues as appropriate.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Performs operations on the product line per work orders and process instructions.
• Enter inspection data and batch details into SAP.
• Complete required paperwork thoroughly and timely.
