Job summary

BD is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on the B shift (4:30pm–4:30am). You will guide line supervisors, manage staffing, and drive safety, quality, and BD Excellence initiatives on the production floor.

You will mentor the team, maintain operational efficiency, and ensure adherence to BD values while resolving issues and supporting continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BA/BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.
• BA/BS with 1 year manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources and priorities within the shift.
• Make final decision on staffing of the entire shift.
• Promptly address any safety issues or incidents.
• Responsible for training plans within line for assigned shift.
• Daily touchpoints with line associates to support EO program including Safety, Quality, AM defect tagging, 5S, Centerlining, TPM, breakdowns, and top losses.
• Provide regular, timely, and specific feedback to associates.
