Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Mechanical Technician at our Atlanta West facility. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, and maintaining critical spares for automated packaging equipment used to manufacture and distribute disinfecting wipes.

Ideal candidates will have solid experience with VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and SAP-based maintenance. Strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work with limited supervision are essential.

Qualifications

  • Industrial maintenance experience of at least 5 years.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and control systems.
  • VFDs, PLCs, servo motors knowledge and ability to follow ladder logic.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and repair equipment to prevent and resolve failures.
  • Troubleshoot motor and motor control problems and service VFDs, PLCs, and servo motors.
  • Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office for work orders, part lookups, and documentation.
  • Read and update technical manuals and P&IDs.
  • Follow proper shaft alignment techniques and drive system maintenance.
  • Perform pipe fitting and use hand/power tools, welding, rigging, and shop equipment.
