Job summary

Bright Innovation Labs is seeking Maintenance Technicians for a 3rd shift (10:30pm - 7:00am) in New Albany, OH. This full-time, direct-hire role focuses on maintaining high-speed filling lines and related equipment in a GMP environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe, efficient operation with CMMS support. A strong mechanical background and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of maintenance experience with fillers or automated systems.
• 2+ years in high-speed production environments.
• Knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
• Experience with Norden, Zalkin, or Kapsall equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance assignments promptly to minimize downtime and maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Repair and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns; make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain equipment in safe, efficient operating condition.
• Translate OEM documentation into actionable maintenance standards.
• Utilize the CMMS system for work orders, inventory management, and recordkeeping.
• Assist with production line changeovers and setup adjustments.
• Follow all GMP, SOP, and safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Support structured improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Disassemble, inspect, and repair defective machine parts using hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with other maintenance and production team members.
• Take ownership of work performance and demonstrate consistent craftsmanship.
• Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
