Night Shift Maintenance Technician

The Night Shift Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of bakery machinery and production support equipment. This position maintains production equipment, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous operations in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.

Salary Range

$62,920 - $86,230 / Year DOE

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on bakery and packaging machines
  • Conduct installations of production support equipment
  • Communicate proactively with supervisors and team members
  • Manage work orders and plan maintenance tasks
  • Repair and replace various mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, and conveyor belts
  • Set up production support equipment including freezers and slicers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–5+ years of experience
  • Understanding of low and high voltage systems (0–24V for low voltage and 120–480V for high voltage)
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Familiarity with basic mechanical tools and skills
  • Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting skills preferred
  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration preferred
  • Proficient in troubleshooting Siemens, Allen Bradley, and SEW variable frequency drives preferred
  • Understanding of TPM and 5S methodologies preferred
