Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a maintenance supervisor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, customers and vendors.
• Strong electrical and PLC skills.
• Working knowledge of scheduling, budgets, equipment and processes.
• High School graduate with technical training.
• Must pass respiratory function and fit test for respirator/SCBA.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift maintenance activities through supervision of employees to meet objectives safely and cost-effectively.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance on the designated shift to keep equipment and alarms in good condition.
• Liaise with outside vendors on projects or repairs and manage overtime costs.
• Oversee corrective actions and adjustments to maximize production during the shift.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws and company policies; train and coach staff.
• Maintain good relations with employees, management, customers and vendors.
