Job summary

Litehouse Foods in Hurricane, UT is seeking a Machine Tech I (Operator) for the night shift (6pm-6am). Starting pay is $18.77 per hour plus a $3 per hour night shift differential.

The Machine Technician I operates at least one production machine, performs basic preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, and ensures food safety and quality standards are met. Litehouse Foods is a 100% employee-owned company with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED strongly preferred.
• Mechanically inclined preferred.
• Experience operating one production machine.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Overtime and weekend availability required.
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts and maintain attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and lead key machinery, aiming for efficient output.
• Set up, operate and adjust machinery.
• Perform changeovers and washes to meet specs.
• Adhere to Food Safety policies and report concerns.
• Ensure products meet customer and quality requirements.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain clean work area and uphold housekeeping.
